We're not the rule. We're the exception. Our standards…well, let's just say, we don't settle for "standard." What most consider "above and beyond" is our norm.

ELLZEY HOME FEATURES
Here's an overview of Ellzey home features:
After talking with numerous builders in the area, my wife and I became frustrated and discouraged as one after another builder told us HOW THEY would build our home instead of asking us what it was that WE truly wanted and liked. We had a dream home in mind after spending time in Mandeville, Louisiana and countless trips to New Orleans, Mississippi, Alabama and all the bayous in between. When we met the folks at Ellzey Construction we knew instantly that this was the builder that was going to construct our dream home. There was not one time during the building process that was not handled in a professional and courteous manner. They listened to our ideas and helped us find a way to build the home we wanted within our budget…all without sacrificing quality and amenities. We have a beautiful home and a friendship with our builder that will both last a lifetime.
Sue Miller built my house in Grand Pointe East. From beginning to end Sue and her assistant Cheryl were delightful to work with. They both went to extreme lengths to answer my inquiries, obtain best pricing for me, use the best available materials, and use the best craftsmen available. Many of the sub-contractors who worked on my house have been with Ellzey Construction/Sue Miller for decades.
I am more than pleased with the end result. There was never a time when my simplest request was not met to my complete satisfaction. Sue was innovative in making changes and adjustments to the floor plan I had chosen not only to make improvements she suggested but also to meet special requests I had made.
I have since spoken to many others who have had their homes built by Sue Miller, and they all rave about her. She has built many houses over many years in this area, and the one thing I hear over and over is how pleased people are and that “their houses never go out of warranty.” Sue stands behind her work.
I have worked with five other contractors to have houses built. They have all been great, but Sue surpasses them easily. I couldn't be more pleased. Sue was wonderful to work with, and I have a great house.
In April 2004, we moved into our new home in the Whispers at Cordova. Of course, in September of the same year, Hurricane Ivan hit Pensacola and all around was devastation. Our home, which we rode out the hurricane in, was undamaged except for the screen porch and one 14 -inch piece of flashing! My husband slept through the night, soundly and undisturbed, in bed.
For each following hurricane, my house was the choice shelter for friends and family.
We love our home, and we love Sue Miller and Ellzey Company. Rarely do builders and clients remain friends after the process.
We were apprehensive about building a home because of all the horror stories we had heard. Sue and Cheryl were always there to meet our concerns.
Would we build again? Only if we work with Sue and Ellzey.
